CARE WORKER - FULL TIME
Job Description
All our staff members are expected to undertake the same level of training, regardless of the amount of hours they intend to work.
Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is not essential but reliance on public transport can sometimes prove a challenge. Please consider how you will access the community if you are not a driver, and be prepared to demonstrate this in-depth at interview.
You must be flexible between the hours of 07:00 – 23:00 on 5 days out of 7, on a rota basis that meets the needs of the people we support, including weekends and Bank Holidays. When applying for a full-time role, you will be expected to work between 30-37.5hrs per week. You will discuss the expectations of the role during interview which will be documented, and further formalised in your employment contract if you are successful in your application. Once you have established your working hours following successful probation, you will be offered a guaranteed hours contract which will formally document these hours.
You will be expected to Register with Social Care Wales after your probation period. We will support you through this process and expect you to be committed to commencing your qualification to aid in career progression and meet Registration requirements.
