Our Commitment to Quality
Pineshield has been providing home care and support services to adults and children in Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan and Newport for 22 years. Pineshield is an independent home and social care agency that supports customers to live their chosen lifestyle with independence, dignity and choice
At Pineshield Health and Social Care Services we ensure that the customers’ requirements are fully and completely satisfied in an effective and efficient manner.
To assist in achieving this we have developed a management system that covers all areas of the activities that impact on our delivery and service, and ensure that we can delivery our Services; these include:
- Home and Social Access Support
- Specialist Care Services
This system is based on good working practices and complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, interested parties including statutory and regulatory bodies.
We recognise that as a service provider regulated under the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016, we are required to ensure there are effective arrangements in place for monitoring, reviewing and improving the quality of care and support provided by the service. This includes seeking the views of people who use the service, their representatives, the relevant authority where appropriate (such as service commissioners, placing authority, area authority or the local authority who has arranged provision of support), and staff, on the quality of care and support provided by the service and any improvements needed.
The system has been implemented using a combination of policy, objectives, computerised systems, documentation, performance standards, and the use of competent personnel.
All employees are encouraged to actively seek on-going continuous improvements in their personal development and in the efficiency and quality of the service offered to the customers.
The system, including this policy and objectives, are continuously reviewed at management meeting to ensure that it is still effective and applicable to the organisation. The meeting will also look at the setting new objectives to continuously improve the system.
