Professional Registration
Registration is a requirement for social care workers in Wales, and Pineshield offers ongoing support to help staff meet these requirements.

The platform supports our vision to promote development and encourages team members to take ownership of their own learning journey.

We use Lumis Essentials (My Learning Cloud), an award-winning eLearning provider offering an accessible and easy-to-use learning platform.
We recognise that eLearning can be perceived as disengaging, which is why we have invested in a modern, high quality solution that supports learning.
In our office space, we are happy to accommodate team members who wish to complete their eLearning in a suitable, supportive environment.
Training certificates are stored securely and can be accessed at any time when needed for registration or professional records.

Welcome Session
After you pass your interview, you’ll be invited to a friendly welcome session to meet the team, learn our values, and understand how we’ll support you.
Training Start
While your employment checks are completed, you’ll begin our training programme, helping you build confidence, feel prepared, and get ready to start your career with us.
Shadow Shifts
Once training ends, you’ll complete supported shadow shifts with a senior colleague, to track progress and reflect with guidance from your mentor.
Ongoing Support
After settling in, you’ll have regular one to one meetings with your manager to review your development, discuss progress, and ensure you feel supported.
